Congratulations to Mrs. MacInnis for winning the Take Me Outside School Challenge!

Congratulations to Salmo Elementary and Salmo Secondary School for raising 1501.5 pounds of food for the Salmo Community Resource Food Bank!

What a wonderful way to give back to the community. Many thanks to our neighbours for their generous contributions. 

It's been a learning journey for students during Metis Awareness Month so far at SES! The intermediate classes learned a lot about Louis Riel, the uses of the sash, modern jigging and many other aspects of the rich Metis culture. We even sampled some bannock!

Salmo Elementary students have been busy throughout the school highlighting their artwork!

Halloween fun was had by all on October 30!

Staff and students dressed up to celebrate. We had a story walk (The 13 nights of Halloween) at the front of the school for classes and community members to enjoy. All classes participated in the Halloween for Hunger food drive. And we ended the morning wiht a hot dog lunch!
