Things are getting festive at Salmo Elementary! Students have been making decorations, displays and various pieces of art work. 

A large school wide project was our "Gratitude" bulletin display. Each student contributed one cut out of their hand on which they listed something they were grateful for this season. All the hands together make up winter trees. What a great reminder of how we all contribute to a whole picture, and that there are so many things to be grateful for!

Other activities have included making ornaments for the local seniors, decorating an outdoor tree for the local wildlife, making wreaths, and classroom decorations.
