Congratulations to Salmo Elementary and Salmo Secondary School for raising 1501.5 pounds of food for the Salmo Community Resource Food Bank!

What a wonderful way to give back to the community. Many thanks to our neighbours for their generous contributions. 

We are so thrilled to be one of the classes chosen to take a journey with Wildsight’s Through the Seasons mentorship program this year.  Students were excited to meet Fairywinkle, as she met with us for first of four half-day field trips.  She inspired awe and excitement in the students as she shared a story, sent them on a colour hunt with magnifying glasses, shared

Halloween fun was had by all on October 30!

Staff and students dressed up to celebrate. We had a story walk (The 13 nights of Halloween) at the front of the school for classes and community members to enjoy. All classes participated in the Halloween for Hunger food drive. And we ended the morning wiht a hot dog lunch!

Salmo Elementary got a face lift this summer! New paint and lighting in the main areas give a brighter, fresher look.
