I am so happy to be working in the wonderful community of Salmo!  We are lucky to be learning and living surrounded by such beautiful, pristine nature. I grew up near the ocean in Nova Scotia, and have enjoyed living in the Kootenays since 1993. I love biking with my e-bike, camping, cooking Mexican food, reading historical fiction, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, and especially paddle-boarding in the summer in all our wonderful lakes and rivers. I love spending time with my amazing friends, and my two (almost grown up) sons, who are the joys of my life.  This year, I am the grade 3/4 teacher as well as the Indigenous Academic Success Teacher for our school. I look forward to an interesting and exciting year of learning at Salmo Elementary.
