Salmo Elementary held our winter concert, which was a huge success, to a full gym and student body to end off the first part of this school year. 

While families kept on arriving for the daytime performance, we had to shift to bring in more chairs to house the excited family’s, relations, and even some neighbors. 

You know it is meaningful when, students are jostling to get as close to the microphone as they can get to share in their love of music and pride in their learned accomplishment. Our music teacher, Ms. Jenna Wright, who is new to our school this year, did a commendable job in teaching the students a variety of instruments, songs, and even some moves. We had singing, dancing, whacking (of the boom-whackers), and ukulele’s (being strummed).  

What an incredible way to highlight our kids in sharing the joy that they bring not only to our school community, but to the Village as well.
