Multi-Age Activity: HONESTY

Image

The focus for the month of April was on the seven sacred teaching of honesty. Students learned about what it meant to be honest to others, to themselves, and why it is important to do the right thing, even when it might be hard to do. Students learned about being trustworthy, responsible, truthful, as well as what it means to be a good citizen and have integrity. As a wrap up activity, we had a multi-age activity that focused on articulating the ways we can show honesty.

Students engaged in two activities to show their learning. One was to create honesty flowers. Students generated a list of ways they could show honesty, and wrote these on the petal to make a 3D flower display. They also made an honesty banner. For this,  students collaboratively made handprints on a canvas banner. These will be hung throughout the school to remember our commitment to honesty!
