Summer is here!

Dear Parents,

As we finish off the 2021-22 school year, I wish to say a very huge thank you for your support of your children and our school. What a year! When I reflect upon where we were at the beginning of the year compared to where we are now, I am grateful for the gradual return to school as usual. There were many ups and downs this year due to the pandemic, but we were able move forward towards a semblance of normalcy. What a gift it has been these last few months being able to have guests in our school and movement about as usual.  It was a big celebration having our first year-end assembly in three years! Thank you to all who came out.

Once again, I have been so impressed with the resiliency of our students, their joy and optimism each day. Additionally, I am so grateful for our amazing team of educators who have worked tirelessly to provide excellent educational programing for all our students. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Report cards are being released this week, so please check into the MyEd parent portal to receive a copy. If you need assistance, please contact our office. Watch for an email to follow shortly with information.

School supplies will be purchased by the school for next year. Supply fees will be $40 per student, which can be paid upon our return in September. Your teacher will let you know anything additional your child may need.

Please see attached year end department letters. These include Library/Literacy (Mrs. MacInnis), Counselling (Ms. Helena), Inclusion (Mr. K) and Indigenous Education (Ms. Hatt). You will find reviews of the year as well as helpful information and resources for the summer.

For now, all the very best for a restful summer! Congratulations to you all for a successful school year. Enjoy a good rest and fun times with family and friends.
