Attention SES families,

School busses are now resuming drop-off and pick-up in front of the school.  We ask that parents please pull ahead of the bus zone in front of the school for drop-off and pick-up. If you need to exit your vehicle and escort your child to class, we ask that you use street parking if possible, as the drop-off / pick-up zone is for quick drops and pick ups only.

Please do NOT pull into the side parking on Sixth Street, unless you are dropping children off at the Children's Center / daycare.  This area has been increasingly congested and needs to be available for staff parking so that teachers can be there promptly to start their day.  If you are making a drop off at the daycare / pre-K, please try to be in and out as soon as you are able.

All students should be dropped off no earlier than 8:25 am.  We will NOT have outdoor supervision available prior to this time. 

We also ask that students who are making their own way to and from school be given a gentle reminder about road safety.  We've had some close calls when students are crossing the road without using a cross walk.

If you feel that other arrangements need to be made for your child, please don't hesitate to contact us at the school so we can work with you to find a solution.  We are hoping that these changes ultimately make our mornings and afternoons safer for everyone.
